Integrated systems design from Draper, Utah
Fix the arc. Read the bearing. Sighted
MeridianBD LLC runs a small, deliberate watchroom at 13549 S Venicia Way, Draper - 84020-6702, United States (US), where computer integrated systems are designed, audited and handed over with the same care a navigator gives a meridian line. Our teams keep a live picture of every raised issue, every escalation path and every drift between intended design and installed reality. See how the watch desk works →
We are not a staffing agency and we are not a reseller. We read the bearing of a system, record what we sighted, and hand the whole picture back to the people who own it.

A systems practice built around one question
Where does the installed system sit relative to the design it was meant to become?
MeridianBD LLC works with organisations whose software, hardware and operational process no longer line up. A warehouse keeps a legacy inventory index while the new dispatch tool already lives in the cloud. A clinic tracks patient intake on paper and then rekeys every record at the end of the day. A manufacturer holds three generations of monitoring equipment on one plant floor and a fourth on order. These are not dramatic failures. They are quiet drifts, and quiet drifts are exactly what a watchroom is good at spotting.
The practice is deliberately narrow. We design integrated computer systems, we run the escalation desk that keeps those systems honest after launch, and we leave behind logs that a new team can read without asking us for a translator. Our industry classification is computer systems design and related services, and that is the whole of what we do. We do not sell licences, we do not take referral fees and we do not resell hardware.
Every engagement starts with a bearing check and ends with a handover brief. Between those two points sits a fixed set of rounds, weeks and audit days that the client can plan around.
Six services, set as bearings
Read left to right, the way a bearing is read
Bearing Check Desk
A half day with your operators and your system diagrams, comparing what the architecture claims against what the building actually runs. You leave with a written bearing sheet that names every mismatch we found and the order in which it will hurt.
Escalation Ladder Rounds
Recurring sessions in which every open issue is walked up a fixed ladder of named levels, with a written owner at each rung. Nothing sits in a holding state without a name beside it, and nothing climbs without a recorded reason.
Sighting Log Weeks
A full week in which the watchroom observes a live system and writes down what it sees, hour by hour, without changing anything. The result is a plain record of behaviour that becomes the reference for every later decision.
Azimuth Audit Days
A structured audit day that measures the angle between stated process and real process across a single domain, such as identity, backup or plant telemetry. Findings are ranked by exposure rather than by ease of fixing.
Drift Correction Sessions
Working sessions that close the gap a bearing check or audit revealed, with edits made in the open and every change logged against the original sighting. We correct the record first and the configuration second.
Handover Brief Nights
An evening handover in which the whole picture is passed to the team who will run the system next. Briefs are written to be read cold, by someone who was not in the room, months after the engagement closed.
The winter azimuth audit window is now open for scheduling, and the watchroom reserves a limited number of audit days each season so that every finding is walked through with the client before it is written up.
A fixed point to measure against
Most integrated systems fail slowly. A connector is retried by a script nobody remembers writing. An account keeps a permission that was convenient two years ago. A sensor drifts half a degree per quarter until the trend line means nothing. None of these events announce themselves, and none of them are caught by a ticket queue that only opens when a user complains.
A watchroom works differently. It keeps a fixed point, a stated bearing, and compares the live system against it on a schedule rather than in a panic. That simple habit catches drift while it is still cheap to correct. It also produces something rarer than a fix: a record that shows how the system changed, who decided each change, and what the system looked like before. When a regulator, an auditor or a new operations lead asks a hard question, the answer is already written down.
The arc is fixed. The bearing is read. The drift is logged. Everything else is consequence.Professional and technical teams carrying real systems
Our clients sit in the professional, scientific and technical services sector, along with manufacturers, logistics operators and clinics that have quietly become software organisations whether or not they describe themselves that way. They share a pattern: a small internal team owns a system that has grown past the size its original documentation describes. The team is competent, tired, and short of the one thing a watchroom provides in abundance, which is uninterrupted attention to the whole picture at once.
We do not replace that team. We give it a second pair of eyes with a written method and a clear boundary. Bearing Check Desk is often the first thing a client buys, because it answers the question every internal owner is already asking. Escalation Ladder Rounds usually follow within a month, because once a team sees its issues named and ranked it wants the ladder kept open. Sighting Log Weeks and Azimuth Audit Days serve clients who need evidence, and Drift Correction Sessions serve clients who have the evidence and want it acted on. Handover Brief Nights close the loop.
Small rooms, named people, plain records
Engagements are run by a named watchkeeper, never by an anonymous pool. That person attends every round, keeps the sighting log current, and signs the handover brief at the end. If a second watchkeeper is needed for an audit day, the first one introduces them and the brief lists both names. There is no handoff to a delivery team you have never met.
Records are written in plain English and stored in a format the client controls. We do not hold a client hostage to our tooling. If a handover brief is delivered as a folder of markdown files and a single index page, that is because the folder will still open in ten years, long after the subscription product that might have replaced it has been acquired twice and shut down.
Clear boundaries keep the record honest
We do not sell software licences, cloud credits or hardware. We do not accept payment from vendors whose products appear in our findings, because a watchroom that earns a commission on its own recommendations is no longer a watchroom. We do not take on engagements where the client expects us to sign off on a design we have never been allowed to read. And we do not keep quiet findings for a later upsell. Every issue we sight is written into the record on the day it is sighted.
These limits are stated in our terms and in our privacy commitments because they are part of the service, not a marketing flourish. A client should be able to predict exactly how the watchroom will behave before the first session begins. That predictability is the point of a fixed meridian.
